Achilles Tendonitis

What exactly is an Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a condition that occurs when pressure builds on the median nerve in your wrist.
This nerve controls the movement and feeling in your hand. Symptoms include numbness, tingling, weakness, and pain in the hand and wrist.
Common causes of CTS are repetitive hand motions, pregnancy, medical conditions like arthritis or diabetes, and wrist injuries. If left untreated, CTS can worsen and affect daily activities.
Treatment options range from non-surgical to surgical. Non-surgical approaches include rest, splinting, over-the-counter pain relievers, and corticosteroid injections. For severe cases, surgery may be considered to release the pressure on the median nerve. Early diagnosis and treatment can often prevent the condition from worsening.
